    Think you for sharing this very interesting article. I am a retired tool maker of 47 years. Always wanted to make my own salmon reel but never had the time. Believe me when I say that I know what it takes to machine by hand holding plus or minus 0.002 inch. I have great respect for Mr Bogdan. He has taken a lot of knowledge to the grave with him and The world was a better place with Him. There aren't very many of us old machinist left. Eney way, think you! For a wonderful video. Best wishes from Ohio. WALTER

    Awesome video! Thank you so much - I've subscribed to both your channel and your mail list. Any chance of a similar video for Saracione reels? I'd love to understand how the inside of a Mark V multiplier works.

    How do you get one it's stuck on there won't come off the barrel and that little post is stuck down in there and will not come out how do you get it out I'll pull and pulled on it and it still won't come out of there the hardest thing get out

    • @SpinozaRodCompany
      @SpinozaRodCompany 3 роки тому

      Hello - it can be tricky if the ferrule is truly stuck. The best things is to find someone else to help you and for each person to put one hand on either side of the ferrule and pull apart firmly but smoothly. No twisting. We’ll try and shoot a video about this for the future to show you how.

    Thanks for the video, do you make other hardware for fishing rods? If so I would love to see more videos! And do you suggest any books if I was thinking about starting to make my own hardware? Making ferrules, guides, reel seats and what not.

    • @SpinozaRodCompany
      @SpinozaRodCompany 6 років тому

      Hi Josh - thanks for the note! We actually do have a few more videos planned, though actual rodmaking keeps getting in the way it seems. I'm not sure about books that target fly rod hardware specifically. I think that some general machining books might be useful depending on your backround. I like to read old machining books and often will pick up a trick or two that I didn't know about. Is that helpful?
